High Speed Rapid Doors – Brisbane

An opening to keep the factory cool, and stand up to heavy use? Sorted.

A combination of fixed and motorised sliding ventilated screens to three large openings were always breaking down and being left open due to very high use by forklifts. Ventilation through these doorways was required to allow air flow through the factory as the manufacturing process generated a lot of heat. The screen doors were necessary to prevent the entrance of birds and insects entering the building and creating food safety and hygiene issues.

An initial site visit and assessment determined that a high speed rapid roll style door was required. When analysing the opening size it was found the existing large openings could be reduced to a more economical size. A custom ventilated high speed door curtain was designed to give the client maximum airflow. The existing screens were removed, new steelwork was installed to reduce the opening size and the new ventilated high speed fast doors were supplied and installed as a complete package. The client has had the doors regularly maintained resulting in no incidents or downtime.
